Ron Bertrand has been playin' music, "ever since he was a kid". During his High School days he started a "Rock" band called the "Rullettes". He and his band mates enjoyed local success playing at everything from Proms to Beach Bars on the Gulf Coast. Many years later Ron moved to the small country of Belize and lived on the Island of Caye Caulker. While there Ron wrote many songs about his Belizean experiences... yeah, lot of em turned out to be "drinkin' songs", but what the heck... we all like a good drinking song, don't we? Recently, after playing at a "Parrothead" benefit down in Kemah, Texas Ron got inspired to complete his "Trop-Rock" collection of songs he had been working on during the past year. Thus came: "Tequila Tonight, Tomorrow We Ride!". For those of us who like a bit of that old time "Rock n' Roll" mixed with some Tropical-Caribbean back beats... this CD is a true winner!
